Don Edwards and Western Jubilee Recording Company win
the prestigious WRANGLER AWARD for Moonlight and Skies
Western Jubilee Recording Company, LLC,
Colorado Springs, takes home a Wrangler for Moonlight
and Skies, winner
of the Outstanding Traditional Western Album by balladeer, Don Edwards.
This is the sixth Wrangler Award for Edwards who produced and recorded
the album. Moonlight and Skies is a compilation of various
songs Edwards has always liked, which he plays with noted musicians
Bob Boatright, Norman & Nancy Blake, Cindy Cashdollar, Rich O'Brien
and others.
The black tie gala for the 46th Annual Western Heritage Awards
banquet was held at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage
Museum in Oklahoma City on April 21, 2007. The Wrangler Award is a bronze
sculpture of a cowboy on horseback. Western Jubillee Recording Company has
won several Wrangler Awards.
