Biography
Western Jubilee

The names Plectrafone Records, The Morning Glory Ramblers, and Back Home In Sulphur Springs depict a throwback in spirit, style, attitudes and musicianship to early rural, roots music which was often captured in various unique locations onto 78 RPM recordings. Thus a perfect setting for recording these records was on the Western Jubilee Warehouse sound stage in Colorado Springs. This 1887 Santa Fe Railroad warehouse setting shuns today's studio atmosphere and was historically captured on vintage microphones by Western Jubilee Engineer Butch Hause.
